Aptitive Presents The 2nd Annual (Data) Science Fair on May 23, 2019 at Marshall’s Landing in the Merchandise Mart
On May 23, 2019, Aptitive will host the second annual (data) Science Fair at Marshall’s Landing (222 W Merchandise Mart Plaza). The (data) Science Fair will feature a variety of projects created by the Aptitive team and technology sponsors including DataRobot, Looker, and Fivetran that will showcase the possibilities of data technology in a unique way. The event, which is structured like a science fair, allows guests to browse booths and projects, ask questions, and interact with the latest technologies in the data space.
The (data) Science fair started in 2018 after Aptitive consultant Ashley Pradhan saw an opportunity to present the benefits of data and analytics technologies in a fun and innovative way. “As a consultant at Aptitive, I utilize many of the technologies featured in the (data) Science Fair to help organizations uncover insights within their data. These insights help businesses improve their existing processes and reach new goals. My vision with the (data) Science Fair was to showcase the plumbing (how it’s done) while having some fun along the way.” says Ashley Pradhan, Senior Consultant for Aptitive.
Coming off a successful launch last year, Aptitive is building this year’s event to be bigger and better, featuring new sponsors including Qlik and Talend. The booths this year run the gamut from the whimsical to business forward. Aptitive will showcase a range of work from a machine learning piano to a project that explores the customer journey of a local Chicago retailer. Each of the technology sponsors have also been working on their own projects that will be showcased at the event.
