As a Senior level Consultant at Aptitive, you will work on small project teams to deliver solutions to our customers

On some projects, you may be a team lead for one or more consultants

On IT strategy or process projects, you will be a member of a team with more senior Aptitive consultants. You will work with many technologies and work as an IT visionary for the client

You will work mostly with local clients as a part of our geographic model, minimizing travel requirements

Work directly with the clients to understand and document their business & technology requirements and to design, code & test technology solutions

You will be involved in building Aptitive by participating in intellectual capital development, training, recruiting, and business development

You will work alongside some of the sharpest developers to improve your technical and consulting skills

Experience in one or more of the following technologies


Advanced knowledge of at least one statistical package (R, Python, SAS, etc)
Willingness to switch between technologies, platforms, libraries, etc.



Experience in any of the following is a plus:

Google Cloud Platform, Azure or AWS


Intimate working knowledge of SQL
Experience with at least 1 DBMS (MS SQL, Oracle, etc)
Working knowledge of table architectures


Functional knowledge of a BI tool (PowerBI, Tableau, etc)
Ability to visually represents results from statistical tools (D3.js, ggplot, matplotlib, etc)

A strong predictor of success for an Aptitive Consultant will be your ability:

A passion for technology and an interest in remaining hands-on are vital for success in this role

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • 5-10 years of analytics or related experience (consulting a plus)
  • Masters Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related quantitative field
  • Experience in leading small teams
  • Experience working and interacting with clients or customers
  • Experience across the entire SDLC
  • Experience working on real data sets from business understanding to deployment; CRISP-DM
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to share knowledge, expertise and grow other Aptitive software innovators and architects
  • Aptitive will not sponsor visas for this position. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
