Our client had five organizations that were combining into a single and upgraded instance of their ERP system. They needed a way to merge all of the data from each organization into one seamless application that would allow for easier and quicker management analysis.
Our team developed updates to underlying SQL stored procedures that allowed for the extraction of data from each new source. The data from the old ERP system was also migrated to reflect the new structure and values. As a result, the backend reporting was updated to use the new source data without service interruptions.
Our client achieved significant cost savings by integrating the different data sources into a central hub. The new central hub allowed our client to access all of the data from each organization, as well as see overall trends and problem areas at a holistic level. The new system was also able to help identify data quality issues with each new data source and fix these issues before they caused inaccurate reports.
